The box is always more interesting than the presents inside! Z was enjoying the package that his Grandpop sent him.

Z is learning to feed himself...however, the wrong end of the spoon is usually what ends up in his mouth!

They're Here!!

Hello All...

We are excited to announce that L's 2nd piano CD "O, the Deep, Deep, Love of Jesus" is now out!

We are excited about this project for two reasons.

(1) Several months ago, L was asked to make another CD. His first CD was produced in high school as a way to pay for college expenses. It was very success not only in sells but also in leading others to the foot of the cross. Praise God! Our prayer is that God continues to use this CD to further the name of Jesus!

(2) After much prayer, we felt the Lord leading us to this project as a way of funding the adoption of our next child! That's right, we are already planning for #2. We have been praying about adoption since before E. We could not be more grateful for the birth of our precious child and are now asking God to lead us to another child.

We know adoption is a long emotional and financial process. Our prayer is that God would bless this CD in order to completely cover adoption expenses. We are selling them for $12.00. If you would like one, please let us know by e-mailing us or posting a comment on the blog!

Greetings from the south!

Greetings All,

There are many things that I enjoy about the South but certainly one of the best things is the food. So far I have enjoyed such goodies as turtle pumpkin pie, fried okra, chicken casserole, orange cake, the best BBQ I have ever had, and many other delicious goodies as well.

E has traveled so well. He is slightly tired of being kissed on and held by different people but is in good spirits. We are so blessed to have such a smiley and content baby!

Tomorrow night many of the family down here will be going to Fuji's for sushi and the hibachi grilled food. This is espeically fun for K and I since Fuji's is where we held our wedding reception. Well, traveling has worn us all out - time to hit the hay!

God's Grace,

~L, K, and E

P.S. As you can see from the pictures E's favorite part about presents is the wrapping paper!

God is still God!

My heart is heavy this morning. Not because of the outcome of the election, but because as I listen to Christian radio, see many Christian’s blog postings, and talk to fellow believers many are acting as if all is lost.

Somewhere along the line Jesus and Uncle Sam became the same person to many American believers. Somewhere along the line too many Christian’s hope was placed in the god of America instead of the God of the Bible. Somewhere along the line the Gospel became not a message of Christ crucified and risen for me but a message of social change.

What a comfort and joy to know that God is still God! What a comfort and joy to know that God can use anyone to accomplish what He desires. What a comfort as Christians to know that we don‘t have to fear the future or have anxiety about our country. Because of Jesus’ sacrifice for us on Calvary we can rejoice in our “present troubles” knowing that they are only temporary and that soon we will see Jesus face to face!

Remember Jesus’ call to pray for all people, to love them, to serve them, and to share the “Hope that we have" with them!

Marantha! Come Lord Jesus!

Resting...

Hi All!

K and I constantly say that we want to be better about updating the blog - hopefully we will!

The church has given me a sabbatical for the month of July - it has been an awesome blessing already. My only duties are on Sunday morning. Sometimes you don't realize how tired you are until you stop! We are thanking the Lord for this time of rest and rejuvenation!

God's Grace,

L, K, and E

I want to be BIG!

K and Z gave me a wonderful Father's Day present! It is a book called "So Very Big" with pictures of Z telling me how he wants to be big like his daddy! Here are a few excerpts from it! Thanks K and Z - Love you!
